A RAPT LLC Product

What if the IRS already sent you something?

Rapt Watch monitors your IRS account and tells you the moment a notice is issued — before a deadline you didn’t know existed becomes a problem you can’t undo.

✓ Every plan includes a free compliance review — so you know where you stand today, not just going forward.

Every notice has a deadline. Most people find out too late.

The clock starts the day the IRS mails a notice — not the day you open it. Most notices give you 30 days to respond. Miss it, and some of those deadlines can’t be undone.

One of our clients missed three years of IRS notices. By the time she found out, she owed $20,000 — all from letters that never reached her in time. That’s the gap Rapt Watch exists to close.

Built for anyone who can miss a mailed notice

If your mail doesn’t always catch up to you, an IRS notice can sit unanswered for weeks without you ever knowing it exists.

Living Abroad

US taxes follow you overseas — and so does the IRS mail.

🚚

On the Road

Weeks away means weeks of mail piling up unopened.

Peace of Mind

One less thing to remember to check on your own.

How it works

1

Choose your plan

Individual, household, or household plus business — pick what fits.

2

Sign one simple IRS form

Form 8821 authorizes us to be copied on anything the IRS sends you. We’re not filing anything on your behalf — just watching.

3

We watch, you relax

The moment a notice is issued, you hear from us — plus a free review of your account to check nothing’s already fallen through the cracks.

Included Free: A Full Compliance Review

Before we start watching forward, we look back first. Every new Rapt Watch account includes a complete review of your IRS standing — unfiled returns, notices you may have missed, anything already outstanding — so you know exactly where things stand from day one. There’s no obligation to do anything about it through us. It’s simply part of signing up.

Backed by an IRS-licensed Enrolled Agent

Rapt Watch is built and run by Robert Jansma, an Enrolled Agent federally licensed to practice before the IRS. He’s spent his career on the other side of these letters — helping people fix what happens when a notice goes unanswered. Rapt Watch exists so you never need that fix in the first place.

Questions

What is Form 8821, and is it safe?

Form 8821 is a standard IRS form that authorizes us to receive copies of notices the IRS sends you. It does not give us authority to act on your behalf — you stay fully in control. It’s signed securely and submitted directly to the IRS.

Will this stop an audit or resolve a balance I owe?

No — Rapt Watch is monitoring, not representation. If something serious does turn up, RAPT LLC also handles audits, back taxes, and IRS collections, and you’ll already have a head start because you’ll know about it immediately.

What if I’m already behind on something?

That’s exactly what the free compliance review at sign-up is for — we’ll check your account for anything outstanding before we start monitoring going forward.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime; annual plans are prepaid for the year.
